Teaching Statistics For Engineering & Master’s In Engineering Management Programs
Several engineering disciplines, such as Industrial & System Engineering, are well-known for using statistics as a prerequisite for many advanced required and elective courses. However, engineers from all disciplines and backgrounds can find statistics a useful tool to satisfy their job requirements and for career advancement. Statistics becomes more useful for engineers who decide to join a graduate program in any engineering field. This paper presents a comparison, regarding statistics coverage in curricula, between engineering disciplines, universities from different levels and rankings, and master programs in engineering management.
